Nokia 6110 review
Network and connections
Introduced back in 1998, the Nokia 6110 cell phone features only one connection: GSM on the single frequency of 900 Mhz. It is therefore a cell phone that does not offer much in terms of connectivity, having no way to connect to the Net whatsoever. The phone features a monochrome display with only 5 lines of text that can be displayed.
Design and features
The design of the Nokia 6110 is typical of cell phones produced several years ago: classic lines, single-body, with the antenna not integrated but protruding from the body on the upper right side, thus increasing the size of the phone. Which are not exactly compact: the height is 130 millimeters, the width 47 millimeters, and the depth 28 millimeters. The weight is also very high, a full 137 grams.
Main features
This is a model poor in features. We can only mention the phonebook with the ability to store 50 contacts in the phone's memory, in addition to those contained in the SIM Card. The ringtones are monophonic. The phone stores the last 10 missed calls, the last 10 received, and the last 10 sent. The lithium battery with 1500 mAh, in the more powerful version, offers a battery life of 450 hours in stand by and 8 hours of talk time.
Entertainment and multimedia
Completely lacking any functions related to entertainment of any kind, the Nokia 6110 only grants, among options other than calling, support for sending and receiving SMS messages (but not concatenated ones). Other than that, it is an absolutely non-multimedia cell phone, which serves solely to send and receive phone calls. A model from another era, indeed.
