Nokia 3108 review
Network and connections
It's not a very recent cell phone but for the period in which it was introduced, it turns out to have very advanced connection features. It was not particularly common in 2003, the year this model was introduced, to find a Tri-Band cell phone, operating on GSM frequencies of 900, 1800 and 1900 Mh, thus with worldwide compatibility. Added to this are the Wap browser and GPRS connection for connecting to the Network. There is also HSCSD support.
Design and features
The design is distinctive and by now outdated: at first glance it looks like a standard cell phone, but it has a flip cover only on the lower part, so as to reveal the keypad, while always keeping the display in view. The latter is a CSTN type, displays 4096 colors and has a resolution of 128x128 pixels, with 8 lines of text. The weight of this model is 93 grams. The dimensions are 106 mm in height, 46.4 mm in width x 26 mm in thickness. The total volume is 83 cc. It comes with a 760 mAh lithium battery with a battery life of 360 hours in stand-by and 6 hours of talk time.
Main functions
Vibration and polyphonic ringtones are features that make this Nokia model a bit more up to date. Further enriching the range of functions during calls and in stand-by, there are also the built-in speakerphone, Java support for downloading games, the calendar and the calculator. Messaging supports SMS and MMS, with the T9 predictive text system, and also allows you to manage e-mails.
Entertainment and multimedia
There are few concessions to leisure and entertainment. Aside from a few pre-installed games and others that can be added by downloading from the Network, there are no other resources for multimedia use or simply as a leisure tool. The music side is non-existent, given the absence of a media player and radio. There isn't even a camera. In short, a cell phone with basic functions.
