Motorola Mpx220 review
With the Motorola Mpx220, you get complete flexibility in a single device; in fact, it's a Quad-band phone with which you can make and receive calls all over the world, equipped with Gprs technology, built-in speakerphone, USB connectivity, CE bus connector and Bluetooth for short-range data transmission, built-in internal memory of 64 MB ROM and 32 MB SDRAM, expandable up to 512 MB with MiniSD. The phone has a clamshell design and a dark-colored body with silver inserts or a silver finish, and features a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and 3x digital zoom, a 12k color external screen with caller ID, and a 16k color internal screen.
The dimensions are compact (90x48x20 millimeters) and the weight is 110 grams. To the software features offered by Microsoft, Motorola has added a good set of productivity applications. In addition to the package for managing MMS and the camera, you'll find the Picsel multiformat viewer, a Java Midlet Manager, as well as a voice recognition application. There are also MMS messaging functions for sending images and photos with text and audio, instant messaging (MSN Messenger), various alert types for polyphonic ringtones, MP3 ringtones, and space for downloads. The built-in games are Jawbreaker 2,3, Solitaire 2,3 (J2ME), Billiards 2, Skipping Stones 2, with the possibility of downloading more.
