Messaging notes: Messaging is a key strength of Nokia handsets, and in this specific case the standard is upheld without however introducing any particular innovations. It is possible to send messages to multiple contacts simultaneously or to an entire group. Thanks to automatic concatenation, it is possible to send and receive messages up to 459 characters long. Picture messages retain the usual handling, which to tell the truth is not very practical, requiring an additional click from the list of drawing names to get a preview of the single image. Text composition, supported by the T9 system with a dictionary that can be enriched with new terms, also includes easy insertion of Smileys (expressive faces). Customizable message templates are also available. One of the new features, for those with patience and imagination, concerns image editing, which allows you to modify existing or received drawings and create new ones.
Design and display
| Display | The graphic display, which can show up to 4 lines of text, is fairly recessed and this causes shadows to form that can hinder readability when the backlight is off. When off, the background color is the classic grey- green, while the backlight is a very pale orange. The graphic quality is the classic Nokia standard, as is the display rendering. |
