T-Mobile Vairy Touch II review

Network and connections
An evolution of the first Vairy Touch, this second version has been enhanced in its technical features and renewed in design. The network receiver is a Quadband GSM on frequencies of 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz, capable of offering excellent coverage anywhere in the world. However, UMTS connectivity is missing. To browse the Internet, you can always count on the internal GPRS modem. The dedicated HTML browser will be able to open Web pages without problems. The Bluetooth is handy for exchanging files with compatible devices. It's also possible to sync with your home PC via USB cable.

Design and features
A clean and elegant style, ensuring an attractive look and absolute comfort even in the grip. The dimensions are compact, with a thickness of 12.5 mm and a weight of 83 grams. The structure is a single block, with the front entirely occupied by the screen. This is a 2.8-inch TFT, capable of displaying up to 65,000 colors. It's also equipped with Touch Screen technology to manage everything at its best. The only buttons on the front are for managing calls.

Main features
The platform equipped on the Vairy Touch II is complete and easy to use. The classic management tools are well organized: address book, organizer, calculator, alarm clock and currency converter. Java support also allows you to install compatible software as desired, to best customize the device according to the user's needs. Support for predictive text allows you to quickly compose text, for managing SMS and multimedia messages, as well as E-mails. For the purely telephone-related aspect, there are speakerphone, voice recorder and multi-conference support.

Entertainment and multimedia
A mid-low range phone, nonetheless equipped with complete multimedia tools. The built-in camera has a resolution of 2 megapixels. The image quality is not too high, but it still offers a useful tool when needed. It also allows recording short videos. The available memory is expandable via microSD cards up to 16 GB. This way you can also carry your favorite music with you, to be played with the dedicated multimedia player. There's also an AM/FM radio antenna for listening to radio broadcasts complete with RDS. Good battery life, lasting up to 300 hours in Stand-by.
