The technical features are good, with a GSM Quadband network receiver that guarantees optimal coverage in any part of the world, also thanks to UMTS support. To browse the Internet there is a modem with data traffic management in HSDPA. This way the HTML browser can easily open any type of page. The phone can be synchronized with the home PC, thanks to the USB 2.0 data output. Or files can be exchanged with compatible devices via Bluetooth. There is also a built-in antenna for Wi-Fi.

Design and features
The style is fresh and dynamic, with rounded lines on the edges to give greater ergonomics and a secure grip. The case, which opens with a lateral Slider movement, hides the extended QWERTY keyboard inside. The shapes nevertheless remain compact, with 15.2 mm of thickness and 164 grams of weight. Portability is therefore guaranteed without any compromise. The display is a 3.4-inch HVGA TFT, capable of displaying up to 65,000 colors. It is also equipped with Capacitive Touch Screen technology.

Java support also allows you to install compatible applications, to customize your device and adapt it to your personal needs. The extended keyboard is decidedly comfortable for text composition, making it easy to write SMS and multimedia messages, as well as emails complete with attachments. There are also instant messaging tools and social network tools such as Facebook, YouTube and many others. The voice aspect offers speakerphone, voice recorder and video call support.

Entertainment and multimedia
To complete the offering of this myTouch 3G Slide, the designers equipped it with a rear camera of as much as 5 megapixels. Image quality is decidedly very good and valid for both photos and videos. It also features autofocus and Zoom and other dedicated functions. Internal memory is expandable up to 16 GB via microSD cards, so you can carry music files with you to play with the multimedia player. There is also a GPS receiver, to integrate satellite functionality. The battery is a 1300 mAh lithium battery and will guarantee good operating autonomy without too many worries.
