Network and connections
T-Mobile and the famous Fender guitar manufacturer, together for a device with complete and above all musical features. The technical characteristics are good, with a GSM Quadband network receiver that guarantees optimal coverage anywhere in the world, thanks also to UMTS support. To browse the Internet there is a modem with HSDPA data traffic management. In this way the HTML browser can easily open any type of page. The phone can be synchronized with your home PC, thanks to the USB 2.0 data output. Or again, files can be exchanged with compatible devices via Bluetooth. There is also a built-in antenna for Wi-Fi.
Design and features
The exterior look immediately recalls the colors of guitars, with wood grain and chiaroscuro effects. The monoblock body maintains normal dimensions, with a thickness of 14.7 mm and a weight of 116 grams. Portability is therefore guaranteed without any compromise. The display is a TFT at 320x480 pixels, capable of displaying up to 65,000 colors. It is also equipped with Capacitive Touch Screen technology, for optimal and fast management of any content. Some function keys and a trackpad help with use.

The Android 1.6 platform offers complete functionality, such as a contacts address book, appointment calendar, calculator and alarm clock, as well as a currency converter and stopwatch. Java support also allows you to install compatible applications, to customize your device and adapt it to your personal needs. The keyboard that appears on the screen is convenient for text composition, making it easy to write SMS and multimedia messages, as well as E-mails with attachments. There are also instant messaging tools and social network tools like Facebook, YouTube and many others. Naturally there is also a music application for composing with the guitar. The voice aspect offers speakerphone, voice recorder and multiconference support.
Entertainment and multimedia
To complete the offer of this myTouch 3G Fender, the designers equipped it with a rear camera of 3.2 megapixels. The quality of the images is decidedly good and valid both for photographs and videos. It is also equipped with autofocus and Zoom and other dedicated functions. The 512 MB internal memory is expandable up to 16 GB via microSD cards, so you can carry music files to play with the multimedia player. There is also a GPS receiver, to integrate satellite functionality. The battery is lithium and the manufacturer guarantees a truly high battery life, as much as 600 hours in Stand-by.
