Network and connections

This is a Dual Mode videophone, UMTS and GSM Quad-Band (850/900/1800/1900 Mhz). It offers 3.5G data connectivity, namely HSDPA (up to 3.6 MB/s speed), 3G, EDGE and, finally, GPRS. Direct connection to a PC is possible via USB cable, while through Bluetooth technology it is possible to use compatible wireless peripherals and exchange files free of charge. The internal display is of the TFT type, features 256000 colors and has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The battery is good.

Design and features

Sony Ericsson Z750 is an easy-to-handle device with a clamshell opening (clamshell), available in "Rose pink" and "Phantom gray" colors. The shape is compact and the design with rounded lines is enhanced by the satin-finish material. The weight is 110 grams, with the battery included, and the dimensions are 97.4 x 49 x 20 millimeters. The external display is functional for its use. The keypad is good. Finally, the central navigation control proves practical and comfortable.

Main features

Numerous functions can be used with Sony Ericsson Z750. The speakerphone is now an indispensable alternative to the headset, especially for phone calls in the car. With the "Multiconference" function, moreover, it is possible to talk with several users at the same time. Messaging includes the management of SMS, EMS, MMS and E-Mail, with the T9 fast writing system. The device also includes the essential functions of alarm clock, calculator and organizer. The internal memory of this device is 32 MB, while the external one is 128 MB, expandable via microSD (TransFlash) cards.

Entertainment and multimedia

This model offers many possibilities for customization and entertainment. The device features an MP3 player and can be used as an FM stereo radio. It also comes with a rich range of polyphonic ringtones, screensavers and Java games (J2ME), which can also be downloaded through the WAP browser. Sony Ericsson Z750 comes with a dual built-in camera. The main one has a 2 Megapixel sensor, for a maximum image resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The pictures taken turn out bright and well defined. Moreover, the various functions (zoom, editor, self-timer and contrast and brightness adjustment) are easily and quickly usable even by the less experienced user. The second camera, on the other hand, is of the VGA type and is mainly used for video calls.
