Sony Ericsson Z1010 review

The Z1010 is a third-generation Dual Mode phone that offers much more than simple video calls, because it also ventures into unexplored territory and is perfect for Business, Entertainment and Imaging on the move thanks to audio and video streaming. Beautiful, compact, with a great many functions and easy to use, the Z1010 has two built-in cameras: the external camera allows, besides taking, saving and sending VGA images, also the recording of short video clips, while the internal camera is used exclusively for videoconference calls. It also has two displays, video and video conference support, 24-tone polyphonic ringtones, and Java technologies. Sony Ericsson has always taken the consumer's side, studying techniques and opportunities to make products easy to use, which is why it created QuickShare, the easiest way to capture and share images and special moments with a mobile phone via e-mail or MMS and, by combining QuickShare with Bluetooth, to share images with a nearby phone or with other compatible Bluetooth-technology devices such as PCs, PDAs or printers.

The Z1010's Media Player can handle MP3 and MPEG4 formats, to play music, view photos and slide shows as well as video clips downloaded or streamed. The internal 32MB memory can be expanded thanks to Memory Stick Duo, with extra space available, the fun will never end. In addition, with the Z1010 it is possible to listen to streaming radio to listen to music or to be informed about the latest news on traffic or weather. Finally, multi-tasking allows you to browse the web, download e-mail and make a voice call at the same time, using a Bluetooth device or the included headset.
