Network and connections
The new device with Windows platform from Sony Ericsson has been announced. The Xperia X2 offers high quality to compete at the highest levels on the market. First of all, the network receiver is a GSM Quadband, a guarantee of coverage anywhere in the world, also thanks to UMTS support. Those who want to browse the Web quickly will certainly find a perfect ally in this device. In fact, it offers HSDPA connectivity, to easily open every HTML page. It is also possible to take advantage of distributed networks, thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi antenna. To exchange files with other devices, you can use Bluetooth. Or you can even sync with your PC via the USB data cable.

Design and features
A device that immediately shows its importance from its exterior appearance. Elegant and refined, black or gray colors to suit any context. The edges remain rounded to offer greater ergonomics in the grip. The dimensions remain fairly contained, considering the importance of the structure: 16 mm thickness and 155 grams in weight. The front side houses almost the entire screen. It is a 3.2-inch TFT, capable of displaying up to 65,000 colors. Its Touch Screen technology allows you to manage the device with simple taps on the screen. A directional pad and some function keys complete the front side. The structure opens with a lateral Slider movement; this way the extended QWERTY keyboard is revealed inside.

Main features
As already mentioned, the Xperia X2 is equipped with the Windows platform, in the Mobile 6.5 Professional version. It is equipped with every standard management application, as well as numerous features dedicated to Business users. The Xperia X2 in fact allows you to always have the office with you, to best manage E-mail from various accounts. It is also possible to open and edit attachments in Office and PDF formats. Great aptitude for network content, such as Instant Messaging and personal Blog management. The display with accelerometer allows for an always perfect view of images, thanks to automatic adjustment. Even the purely telephone aspect is of quality, with hands-free, voice recorder and support for calls with voice command. A dedicated camera also allows you to make video calls.

Entertainment and multimedia
The specific features for leisure moments are astounding, starting with the camera with a resolution of as much as 8 megapixels. The images captured are of high quality, also thanks to LED Flash, digital Zoom and dedicated functions, such as Geo-tagging which detect the location of the shot. This is made possible by the integrated GPS receiver. The memory available for saving data is plentiful, expandable via microSD cards. This way there will be no limits to always carrying your favorite music and videos with you, to be played via Windows Media Player. Battery life is also very good, functioning for up to 640 hours in Stand-by.
