Sony Ericsson V800 review

The V800 is an elegant third-generation UMTS phone, with everything you need to enjoy the best mobile phone services. It features a complete range of entertainment functions, a multidirectional camera and can be used anywhere in the world. With the V800 you can enjoy live streaming video on your phone to check out news, sports and more, and have fun communicating via video calls. In fact, 3G technology brings moving images to your phone like never before, so you can, for example, call a friend and see them appear on the display, or point the Motion Eye camera at yourself to show where you are. The internal screen is a 2.2-inch TFT with 262,000 colors, while the small external screen can display the caller's name and, if available, their associated picture. The built-in digital camera, with a resolution of 1.3 Megapixels, lets you take quality photographs.

The V800 is packed with functions, but ease of use always comes first. With QuickShare, sharing takes just a few clicks, and thanks to 3G, large files are transferred quickly and you can download fantastic new games in no time. MMS messages let you compose messages by adding photos, short video clips, sounds and styled text. The V800 also gives you access to music: the media player lets you create your own favorite playlist, with the right songs in the right order, just the way you want. In addition, you can connect to your PC via Bluetooth, infrared or cable to sync your calendar and phone book.
