Those who love elegance and unmistakable style will find an excellent ally in this T707 by Sony Ericsson. First of all, it is a concentrate of technology, with a GSM Triband receiver on 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz frequencies. Dual Mode also allows you to take advantage of UMTS networks. To browse the Internet, an internal modem with HSDPA data traffic management is available, so as to reach extremely high speeds when opening pages, via the HTML browser. Communication with other devices is possible via wireless Bluetooth, or with the USB 2.0 data cable, handy for example for syncing with a PC.
Design and features
The exterior look of this T707 is truly amazing, with intense colors and well-studied lines. The body is a clamshell, so as to offer greater protection to the standard internal keyboard. On the front there is a monochrome OLED screen, ideal for displaying basic information. Still on the inside, you'll find the main display, a 2.2-inch TFT capable of displaying up to 256,000 colors. The dimensions are truly compact compared to similar devices, with a thickness of 14.1 mm and a weight of just 95 grams. The package includes the earphones and the data cable.
Main features
As a first notable characteristic, we must mention call management. These can be customized by assigning a color of choice to the caller. This way, every time a call is received, the T707 will light up with decidedly thrilling light effects, to immediately indicate who is calling. Of course, speakerphone, voice recorder and support for multi-conferencing are not missing. With the dedicated camera, you can also make video calls. The T707 can be managed through hand movements and rotations, thanks to a sensor designed specifically for this purpose. Every multimedia function is present, such as YouTube and Google functions, so as to always stay in touch with the virtual world. Also notable is the possibility of changing the dynamic wallpapers, which indicate sunrise and sunset, adapting to weather conditions.
Entertainment and multimedia
Absolutely complete also from the entertainment point of view, the T707 proves to be truly an excellent tool for everyday life. The 3.2 megapixel camera allows you to take photographs in any condition, thanks also to the built-in Zoom and Flash, in addition to dedicated functions for capturing images and videos. The available memory is plentiful, with 100 MB of space, further expandable up to 16 GB via Memory Stick M2 cards. This way, you can always have your favorite music in your pocket, to be played with the dedicated multimedia player. There is also an AM/FM radio receiver, so you can listen to radio broadcasts at any time. Battery life is also excellent, with 400 hours in Stand-by.
