The T290i features Gprs, the technology that lets you connect to the Web and always be online with a fast connection, paying for the data sent, not for the duration of the connection, and a wide range of fun and exciting games, including the legendary racing game V-Rally2. Among its many functions there is hands-free for talking freely wherever you are, the Mms function for sending texts, music, sounds and color images to another mobile phone or to an e-mail address, Sms for sending texts and e-mails with writing made easier by the "predictive text input" system.

It is equipped with an effective alarm clock that works even when the phone is switched off, and when you need to remember an important event, this phone has a calendar with reminders. In addition, you can download new games from the Fun & Downloads section of the Sony Ericsson website, and you can customize the phone with new ringtones, themes and wallpapers.

The T290i features a bright 4096-color display, perfect for images, games and composing messages. Ergonomic design, intuitive on-screen menus, tactile materials, and advanced features make it a refined and aesthetically pleasing mobile phone.
