Sony Ericsson Elm review

Network and connections
The new Elm phone from Sony Ericsson offers design and respect for the environment, launched on the market together with its relative Hazel. With the latter it shares almost all of its technical and functional features. Starting with the technical characteristics, we find the GSM Quadband receiver, on frequencies of 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz. This guarantees optimal signal coverage, also thanks to UMTS support. For surfing the Internet nothing is faster than HSDPA technology, which allows speeds equal to home ADSL to be reached. The HTML browser will thus be able to easily open every Web page. Furthermore, distributed networks can be exploited, thanks to the Wi-Fi antenna. Bluetooth and USB output are also present.

Design and features

The style of this Elm is interesting, clean, discreet but with a touch that manages to give it something exclusive. At first glance one immediately notices the particular curved shape of the Candybar body. The front, on the other hand, has decisive and simple lines, which clearly separate the function keys with the keyboard and the directional pad from the screen. The latter is a 2.2-inch QVGA TFT, capable of displaying up to 256,000 colors. The dimensions are compact, with a thickness of 14 mm and a weight of 90 grams. Available in Metal Black and Pearly Rose colors.
