Samsung WatchPhone review
To have fun playing secret agent, this little James Bond-style gem can even be worn on your wrist! It is in fact a watch-phone that is, a watch-phone, the first "watch-phone" compatible with GPRS technology. A bit of mobile technology right on your...wrist!
Design and features
It has all the characteristics of a real watch, complete with an elasticized metal mesh strap and a body that isn't exactly small, since it has to contain the actual cellphone. Let's say that both for its general look and for the use one can make of it, it certainly won't go unnoticed. You'll need to get used to carrying around on your arm a little object measuring 37.8 x 64 x 17.7 mm for a weight of 80gr. The small display is in 256 colors with a resolution of 96 x 64p. This screen is the result of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology, meaning it is not backlit but emits its own light, thus limiting energy waste. Built-in antenna and battery, the latter being a lithium one that allows for 80 hours of stand-by life. It has a small built-in modem. Obviously it includes a jack for an earphone. It is a Dual Band GSM operating on 900/1800 Mhz frequencies.
Main features
Sending and receiving of SMS, MMS, Email and EMS, predictive text input, clock (obviously), date function, voice calling, multi-conferencing, voice command activation, vibracall, WAP 1.2.1 microbrowser function, Bluetooth support, polyphonic ringtones, alarm clock, memo, calculator and calendar. GPRS class 10 function.
Entertainment and multimedia
Unfortunately it does not have a multimedia player, but it does allow free access via cable to your own PC for data transfer such as ringtones (customizable), wallpapers and images, games etc.
