Samsung SCH V770 review
The Samsung SCH-V770 is the world's first cell phone with a 7 megapixel camera and for the time being is available only on the foreign market. The functions of this model are equal to those of a 7 megapixel camera, with 3x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom and a 1x1.8 inch CCD. There is also a flash and autofocus. The V770 was designed to also make it possible to add additional lenses, both wide-angle and telephoto. These lenses can also boost the optical zoom capabilities by 4.7 times. This is a unique feature for a cell phone. In addition, the phone can be used in manual mode. That is, it is possible to use the camera like a true professional, personally controlling the focus, the focal length, the shutter speed (from 15 seconds to 1/2000 of a second) and the auto exposure mode.
The V770 obviously also has numerous multimedia functions, such as the digital amplifier to boost the audio signal and ensure excellent sound quality. The TFD-LCD display maximizes the QVGA resolution, the highest possible for a display of this size. With its 16 million colors the display is able to reproduce virtually all colors existing in nature. Videos can be recorded with a QVGA resolution at 15-30 frames per second.
Among the other built-in functions are Video on Demand and Music on Demand, and the phone also supports a useful TvOut function that allows images and videos to be displayed directly on the television.
As for design, the V770 resembles a real digital camera. On the front there is the design of an actual cell phone, while on the back it has the look of a digital camera. This model is also equipped with an mp3 player, a business card reader and 64-tone polyphonic ringtones. The internal memory is expandable by 32 MB (micro MMC) in addition to its internal memory.
