To browse the Internet you can count on the internal modem. It manages data traffic with HSDPA technology, allowing the HTML browser to open pages at a speed equal to home ADSL. There is also the convenient Bluetooth for exchanging files with other devices.
Design and features
A clean and simple style, with essential but well-crafted lines. The satin-finish surfaces give a high-tech look to the S8300 Ultra Touch. On the front is the large 2.8-inch scratch-resistant AMOLED display. It is capable of displaying up to 16 million colors and is equipped with Full Touch Screen technology. Just below are a management key and the call keys. The structure of the S8300 Ultra Touch opens with a vertical Slider movement. This way the standard alphanumeric keyboard is revealed inside. The coloring of the keyboard is particular, echoing the front frame and the camera housing.
Main features
The proprietary platform is complete and functional, practical to customize and intuitive to manage. The classic applications for contacts and appointments are of course present. Java support also allows installing software at will, to adapt the device to one's needs. The display with accelerometer automatically adjusts the orientation of images, for always clear and sharp viewing of content. Writing and managing SMS, MMS and E-mail is really convenient. It is also possible to view Office and PDF attachments without any problems. For phone functions there are the speakerphone, the voice recorder and video call support.

This is thanks to the 8-megapixel optics with dedicated functions, such as Face Detection, Wide Dynamic Range and autofocus. You can also record videos, to save on the ample available memory of 80 MB, expandable up to 16 GB with microSD cards. This makes it possible to carry your favorite audio and video files with you at any time, to be played back faithfully with the dedicated multimedia player. In addition, you can take advantage of the GPS receiver to integrate satellite functions. Battery life is good, lasting up to 350 hours in Stand-by.
