Samsung M7500 Emporio Armani review

Network and connections
Emporio Armani in collaboration with Samsung offers a young phone, with an eye-catching and fashionable design, to follow trends even outside the catwalks. The technical qualities are notable, a GSM Quadband receiver that guarantees optimal coverage in every part of the world. In addition, UMTS network support is present, with Dual Mode functionality. Internet connectivity is guaranteed by the internal modem which, also thanks to HSDPA packet data management, allows for very fast opening of HTML pages. Bluetooth allows connection to compatible devices, as does the USB 2.0 data cable for syncing with a PC.

Design and features
The refined yet essential lines give this phone a minimalist look. At the same time, the effect is of great impact, with an unmistakable style thanks also to the Emporio Armani branding on the sides. The dimensions are compact, just 12 mm thick for a weight of 91 grams. Portability is therefore guaranteed, as are ease of use and handling. The front hosts the screen, a 2.2-inch OLED capable of displaying up to 256,000 colors. Just below is the standard numeric keypad, with well-spaced keys that are comfortable to use.

Main features
The proprietary platform supports Java applications, so you can install new compatible software and customize your device to the fullest. The classic management functions are not missing, such as a contacts list and a calendar for managing appointments. There's also an alarm clock with the possibility of setting various alarms, the calculator, and the currency converter. The voice section, on the other hand, offers the possibility of recording voice clips, using the speakerphone, and making multiconference calls. It's also possible to make video calls, viewing your own image thanks to the dedicated camera.

Entertainment and multimedia
The Samsung by Emporio Armani is designed as a true music player, so much so that it has dedicated keys to better manage the playback of audio collections. The available memory is plentiful, 120 MB internal; but if needed it's further expandable, via microSD type cards. It's also equipped with a receiver for AM/FM radio frequencies, so you can listen to your favorite radio stations, complete with RDS function. To capture the best moments, you can use the main camera, with a resolution of 3.15 megapixels. The photos are of good quality, thanks also to the Zoom and autofocus.
