Design and features
The clean, classic lines give this Samsung a simple look. However, it proves solid and comfortable to hold, with rounded edges finished with care. The front is occupied almost entirely by the large 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, with Capacitive Touch Screen technology at 16 million colors. A truly portable device without giving up any particular compromises, adaptable to any situation; also comfortable in your pocket with a thickness of 15 mm. The purchase kit includes stereo earphones and the USB data cable.
Main features
The Samsung i8520 Beam is equipped with the Android OS v2.1 platform, which guarantees great customization possibilities with compatible applications, even though it's already complete in its standard configuration. The feature package is very extensive, from voice support such as speakerphone, voice recorder and multi-conference with video call, to E-mail management. The Office package allows you to view documents and PDF files without any problems, and even project images directly onto an external screen, thanks to the integrated Pico optical projector. It proves really useful for displaying presentations in public, whether personal photographs or work slides. On the 16 GB internal memory you can store large quantities of photos and videos; and if the space isn't enough, a microSD card lets you expand the memory as much as you like, up to 32 GB. Furthermore, your favorite music is always with you thanks to the I8520 Beam, to be played at any time with the multimedia player that supports various formats. Unbeatable audio quality, thanks to DNSe technology. There's also an AM/FM radio receiver. All of this is backed by an 1800 mAh battery, with a battery life of up to 530 hours in Stand-by.
