Samsung i7410 review
Network and connections
A Samsung Smartphone born to amaze and guarantee great portability. That's why the i7410 is equipped with GSM Triband network support, which allows optimal signal reception in any condition. In addition, the Dual Mode functionality integrates UMTS connectivity. There's also the possibility to surf the Web, thanks to the integrated modem and GPRS and EDGE technology, for fast data transfer. Bluetooth, on the other hand, is handy for exchanging files with compatible devices, or else the USB 2.0 cable for syncing with your home PC.
Design and features
The essential, clean lines give this Smartphone an almost delicate feel. However, it proves solid and comfortable to hold, with rounded edges finished with care. The front is almost entirely occupied by the large 3.2-inch TFT screen, with 256 thousand color Touch Screen technology. A truly portable device without giving up particular compromises, adaptable to any situation; also convenient in your pocket with a thickness of just 17.2 mm. The purchase kit includes stereo headphones and the USB data cable.
Main features
The Samsung i7410 is equipped with a proprietary platform, which guarantees great customization with compatible applications, even though it's already complete in standard configuration. The feature set is very wide, from voice support such as speakerphone, voice recorder and multi-conferencing with video calling, all the way to E-mail management. The Office package allows you to view documents and PDF files without any problem, and even project images directly onto an external screen, thanks to the integrated optical projector. This proves really useful for displaying presentations in public, whether personal photos or work slides. Private and work commitments are always under control, thanks to a synchronized agenda and calendar.
Entertainment and multimedia
Samsung's designers have equipped this device with great multimedia qualities. A rear camera with as much as 5 megapixels delivers perfect images in any condition, thanks to the integrated Zoom and Flash. On the 150 MB internal memory you can store large quantities of photos and videos; and if the space isn't enough, a microSD card lets you expand the memory as you like up to 16 GB. Furthermore, your favorite music is always in your pocket with the i7410, ready to be played at any time with the multimedia player that supports various formats. Also interesting is the compatibility with DivX videos, for watching movies while traveling. All of this is backed by a 1440 mAh battery, with long-lasting autonomy.
