Network and connections
The new G600 is a device of excellent quality, designed to compete at its best in the mid-range market segment. Equipped with a GSM Quadband network receiver, it allows for perfect signal reception anywhere in the world. The built-in modem allows comfortable Web browsing, thanks also to the NetFront 3.4 browser and the GPRS data traffic protocol. Bluetooth support is also present for connecting to compatible devices, in addition to the USB 2.0 cable for direct synchronization with a PC. However, an infrared port and a Wi-Fi receiver, useful for taking advantage of corporate network connections, are missing.

Design and features
This Samsung phone immediately appears as a device with trendy and modern lines. On the front side there is a 2.2-inch TFT display, with a resolution of 240x320 pixels and 16 million colors. Just below it, two function keys in addition to those for managing calls, with a five-way pad in the center. The body can be opened, with vertical sliding to reveal a standard numeric keypad inside. The dimensions are absolutely compact, ensuring excellent portability and ease of use. The thickness is in fact 14.9 mm, for a weight of 105 grams. Inside the retail package you can find a stereo headset and a handy 512 MB microSD card.

Main features
The Samsung G600 comes with a truly complete functional profile, with utilities for personal management such as an address book and calendar, as well as a clock with an alarm setting function. As for the voice part, we have the built-in speakerphone, the voice recorder and support for multiconference calls. The platform is proprietary, however Java support allows you to install compatible programs and games, to best customize your phone. The T9 predictive text system instead allows you to quickly write SMS and multimedia messages, as well as E-mail.

Entertainment and multimedia
The G600 truly stands out as an excellent multimedia tool as well. It is in fact equipped with a rear camera of no less than 5 megapixels, with a maximum resolution of 259x1940 pixels. The built-in 4X Zoom, together with the LED Flash, allows you to capture details in any lighting condition. It is also possible to capture videos, to be conveniently stored on the 55 MB internal memory, expandable with microSD cards up to 2 GB. This way it is also possible to always carry your favorite music with you, to be played with the multimedia player supporting various formats. All operations are guaranteed by a battery life of 380 hours in Stand-by, thanks to the 880 mAh Lithium battery.
