Samsung SGH-E250 is a "Tri-Band" GSM cellular phone, operating on the 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz frequencies. It stands out for its EDGE data support, in addition to GPRS (class 10), nothing comparable, however, to 3G terminals. This model is also compatible with the wireless Bluetooth and infrared (IrDa) technologies. Connection with the computer, on the other hand, is made possible by the dedicated USB cable. The included lithium-ion battery is good.
Design and features
SGH-E250 is characterized by an elegant design, with slide-up opening. It is an extremely thin, lightweight model, carefully finished in its details. The color of the device is gray - silver (Silver). The antenna, being internal to the phone's body, does not affect how it is carried and does not limit its handling. On the front of the phone there are only the call buttons, the selection buttons, the navigation cursor and a few others. The opening is activated by pressing a side control.
Main features
Samsung SGH-E250 offers the user a wide range of integrated features, such as the hands-free function usable during calls. Unfortunately, the model does not allow the recording of voice Memos and does not include voice calling functionality. The phone is also equipped with alarm and internal agenda functions so as not to miss important appointments. As for messaging formats, Samsung SGH-E250 allows the management of most of the more common formats, and text entry speed is ensured by the T9 predictive system. The internal memory is only 15 MB and is expandable via microSD cards.
Entertainment and multimedia
Samsung SGH-E250 has polyphonic ringtones, music tracks in MP3 and AAC format. The MPEG-4 video player also enhances the product. There are also some pre-installed games and, thanks to Java (J2ME) support, it is possible to get new ones, even downloading them from the network through the built-in browser. In addition, on the back of the body there is a VGA-type digital camera, with a 0.3 Megapixel sensor, capable of reaching a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It is a device of mediocre quality, equipped with digital zoom and color effects applicable to images.
