Network and connections
Nokia X6 aims to offer quality, boundless multimedia, and ease of use, for an extremely wide audience. This model is the top one in the X6 line, which also includes two versions with reduced memory. The network receiver is a GSM Quadband, for optimal coverage in any condition, also thanks to UMTS support. For browsing the Internet, nothing is faster than the HSDPA modem, for boundless mobility. The dedicated HTML browser will be able to correctly display any Web page. There's also the Wi-Fi antenna to take advantage of distributed networks. Bluetooth and USB connection are also present.
Design and features
A fascinating style, with simple but decisive lines, all high-tech for an intriguing design. The Candybar body keeps dimensions compact, with 13.8 mm of thickness and 122 grams of weight. The front side is almost entirely occupied by the large display. This is a TFT of a full 3.2 inches, capable of displaying up to 16 million colors. It is also equipped with Capacitive Touchscreen technology, for absolute and intuitive management of any content. The display surface is scratch-resistant and integrates a sensor for automatic contrast adjustment.
Main features
The Nokia X6 is equipped with the Symbian OS version 9.4 platform, synonymous with reliability, speed and ease of use. Java support allows functionalities to be expanded at will, so as to customize the device according to one's needs. The simplified writing helps in composing text, so as to quickly handle SMS, MMS and E-mail. Viewing and editing attachments such as Office and PDF documents will not be a problem. There is great support for the use of applications such as Facebook, Youtube and Instant Messaging programs. As for the telephone aspect, there are speakerphone, voice recorder and video call support, thanks to the dedicated front camera.
Entertainment and multimedia
An absolutely complete phone, to compete in the high-end market segment. The integrated camera has a resolution of 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss, to capture quality images in any condition. There are many dedicated functions, such as autofocus, Dual LED Flash and Geo-Tagging. The latter is made possible thanks to the integrated GPS receiver, which also allows you to take advantage of the navigator function with the Ovi Maps 3.0 software. Audio entertainment, on the other hand, can count on ample storage space, a full 32 GB built-in. This way you can always have your favorite music in your pocket, to be played with the dedicated multimedia player, or plenty of videos and movies. There is also an AM/FM radio antenna, with RDS function. Interesting is the TV-Out output, for projecting presentations and images externally. All this is complemented by a long-lasting battery, for a battery life of 420 hours in Stand-by.
