Nokia N92 review
Network and connections
Nokia N92 is a third-generation Dual Mode cell phone, UMTS and Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz). Besides having 3G connectivity, it supports EDGE and GPRS technologies. In addition, it offers a wide range of wireless features: Wi-fi, Bluetooth and infrared (IrDa). Connection to a PC takes place via USB cable. Nokia N92 is also equipped with DVB-H technology, which provides immediate access to television programs through a mobile digital signal. This is possible thanks to the large 2.8-inch diagonal QVGA display, anti-glare, capable of displaying 16 million colors with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. Finally, the 1500 mAh lithium battery proves adequate to the situation.
Design and equipment
The design of Nokia N92 is very distinctive. Externally, it resembles a normal "clamshell", a cell phone with a flip opening. In reality it is a more complex device, very elegant and refined. It features four modes of use, one of which is specific for accessing TV or videos. To activate this function, simply open the phone and select "view" mode. The weight is fairly considerable: a total of 191 grams. The built-in antenna, on the other hand, does not affect the overall handling of the device. The charger and the headset complete the package.
