It is a Dual Mode cellphone, meaning it is able, when needed, to exploit the potential and speed of the UMTS network. In addition to 3G compatibility, Nokia N91 can operate on GSM frequencies of 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz. Usability worldwide is underlined by support for EDGE and GPRS data transfer technologies. Wireless connectivity is instead enhanced by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features, for quick content sharing and the use of numerous accessories. The USB cable, on the other hand, is used to connect the device to personal computers.

Design and features

Nokia N91 can be classified as a cellphone with a "slide up" design. The body is thin and refined, with integrated antenna and stainless steel finishes. The weight value is not insignificant, a full 160 grams including the battery. The keypad is spacious and backlit, as is the display, which features among its distinctive traits a few keys for accessing music functions.

Main features

Among the features offered by this Nokia model, Voice Dial and Voice Memo are worth mentioning. The built-in hands-free speaker completes the equipment and proves very useful for video calls, that is, live video conversations. The base memory is 30 MB and can subsequently be expanded with absolute ease.

Entertainment and multimedia

The built-in stereo speakers and the included earphones allow N91 to be used as a true multimedia player. The integrated MP3/AAC/WMA player, in fact, is of excellent quality, as is the MP4 and 3GP video file player. All content, moreover, can be shared with other users, while Java (J2ME) technology allows the installation of new software, useful or otherwise.
