Network and connections

Nokia N77 is a Dual Mode terminal, operating both on GSM and UMTS networks, thus guaranteeing very high coverage. It is a Quad-Band device, capable of receiving and sending calls on the 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz frequencies. It also features 3G, EDGE and GPRS connectivity, as well as USB. The wireless Bluetooth connection allows the user to make use of numerous accessories and to exchange files with other devices. Nokia N77 is also equipped with DVB-H technology, which provides access to television programs via the mobile digital signal. The display is an LCD with active matrix (TFT) of 240 x 320 pixels, supporting up to 16 million colors. The battery is good.

Design and features

Nokia N77 is a "candybar"-style smartphone, with a one-piece body, very compact and refined. Aesthetically, it is characterized by its two-tone coloring (Black/Gray). The display is large and bright, with a size of 2.4 inches to allow perfect viewing of mobile TV. The keypad is comfortable and practical, and the antenna is of the integrated type.

Main features

Nokia N77 incorporates many voice functions such as speakerphone, multi-conferencing and hands-free calling. Naturally, the classic features are also present, such as alarm clock, notepad, calculator, currency converter, countdown timer and organizer. The phone supports SMS, MMS and E-mail messages, with the T9 predictive text system. The memory is 20 MB and is expandable via microSD/T-Flash cards.

Entertainment and multimedia

As for entertainment, Nokia N77 is an excellent player capable of playing files in various formats, such as MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ music and video clips. It is also equipped with an FM radio tuner and high-quality audio. Nokia N77 supports many contents such as polyphonic ringtones, screensavers and Java (J2ME) games, which can also be downloaded through the built-in WAP browser. The built-in camera offers a 2 Megapixel sensor, with autofocus, which allows you to capture sharp and bright photographs, at a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. It also features a 16x digital zoom, flash and self-timer. Finally, the device allows the recording of video sequences with a resolution of 352 x 288 pixels.
