Network and connections
Nokia E51 is a Dual Mode cellphone, HSDPA/UMTS and GSM Quad-band at the same time, operating on the frequencies of 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz. For data transfer, this model offers 3G and GPRS technologies, in addition to EDGE class 32 connection. There are a USB port, wireless Bluetooth support and IrDa infrared support, as well as Wi-Fi. The main display is very sharp and the secondary one is functional. The included battery is good.
Design and features
This device has the same style as many Nokia models, that is, the structure with standard body (candybar or one-piece body). It is also a compact type terminal, with integrated antenna, easy to handle even though its dimensions are not extremely small. The weight is 100 grams while the dimensions are 114.8 millimeters for height, 46 mm for width and 12 mm for thickness. The purchase kit also includes a travel charger, user manual and headset.
Main features
Nokia E51 is a very versatile cellphone, able to satisfy wide ranges of users. It offers multi-conferencing, built-in hands-free speaker, voice command calling and Voice Memo. In addition to these functions there are alarm clock, calculator, agenda, notepad and more. Moving on to the messaging sector, this cellphone supports SMS, EMS, MMS and E-mail, with easy writing, as well as Instant Messaging. Memory is 130 MB, expandable via T-Flash (microSD) cards.
Entertainment and multimedia
The multimedia player is able to play audio and video files of various formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+, 3GP and MPEG. There are wide possibilities for customization regarding backgrounds, screensavers, wallpapers, polyphonic ringtones and Java (J2ME) games. It is possible to download new content through the built-in WAP browser. Furthermore, this model has a camera with a 2 megapixel sensor, with which it is possible to obtain photographs at a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. In addition, the device offers self-timer and digital zoom, even though flash is missing. Finally, it is possible to make video calls and manage video messages thanks to the integrated 3G technology.
