Nokia 8800 review
The Nokia 8800 is a Tri Band phone equipped with class 8 EDGE technology with 64 MB of internal memory, a cleverly hidden SVGA camera with the ability to record video in QCIF quality, and a graphics processor that supports 3D. Every detail has been meticulously studied and precisely designed; the soft lines, the stainless steel casing, the sliding opening, and the high-resolution display (208 x 208 pixels) with scratch-resistant glass make this cell phone both beautiful and practical. Thanks to this new cell phone equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology, it is possible to easily sync with many other compatible devices.
The Nokia 8800 features multimedia messaging and e-mail, an instant messaging function, Bluetooth, a built-in speakerphone, an XHTML browser, and Java MIDP 2.0 support. It is also equipped with an integrated FM radio, 64-tone polyphonic ringtones, an MP3 player and AAC audio file playback, 3D games, and the ability to download Java applications over-the-air. On the accessories front, there is the Nokia 616 car kit, thanks to which it is possible to enjoy a communication system that offers the advantages of both fixed and mobile car phones, or the Nokia Plug-in wireless car kit, which offers improved audio quality and can be easily installed by the user. It also features call management functions and battery charging capabilities.
