Nokia 8250 review
Network and connections
For a model from the early 2000s, introduced by the Finnish company Nokia, the 8250 cell phone is well equipped in terms of networks and connections. In fact, it is a Dual Band GSM, operating on frequencies of 900 and 1800 Mhz with coverage therefore extended only to the European continent, however it does not integrate a Wap browser and therefore makes it impossible to access Internet resources. The only other connection is the IrDa infrared port.
Design and features
A gray structure and an included cover are the main aesthetic characteristics of the Nokia 8250, a single-body cell phone with integrated antenna. The weight of the device is relatively contained, 81 grams, while the height is 102.5 millimeters, the width is 45 millimeters and the depth is 19 millimeters. The total volume is 69 cc. Included is a lithium-ion battery: it ensures 150 hours of autonomy in stand-by and 3 hours and 20 minutes in use.
Main functions
There are interesting functions: starting from the ability to write messages with drawings, up to the converter, the calculator, the calendar, and the Voice Dial for calling contacts in the phone book through a voice memo (up to a maximum of 8). 20 dialed calls stored, 10 missed and received calls, 250 contacts that can be stored in the phone book. 10 volume levels and 6 ringtone levels.
Entertainment and multimedia
Four built-in games (Snake, Logic, Memory and Opposite), with the possibility of integrating others via download. Unfortunately monophonic ringtones, numbering 36, to which another 7 freely composable ones are added. Messaging limited to SMS, although with intuitive T9 writing. The Chat mode is present, which allows for quick exchange of SMS. Photographic or music resources are absent.
