Nokia 7370 review

Network and connections

Nokia 7370 is a Tri-band GSM terminal, meaning it is able to operate on three frequency bands: 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz. For data connection, EDGE technology is available, in addition to GPRS. Bluetooth compatibility is also available, for fast file exchange and for the use of numerous wireless accessories. The USB cable, on the other hand, allows connection to personal computers.

Design and equipment

Nokia 7370 is a slide-up mobile phone with rounded lines. The outer part is occupied by the display, with no keys present, while the inner part is entirely occupied by the keyboard. The latter is medium-sized, comfortable and backlit, simple to use. The antenna is integrated into a thin and well-finished body. The available colors are Bordeaux and gold. The retail package includes, in addition to the battery, the relative charger, the user manual and the earphone.

Main features

This mobile phone is equipped with a built-in speakerphone, for hands-free calling. Also available are the Voice Dial and Voice Memo functions. As for messaging, Nokia 7370 is set up for sending and managing Sms, Ems, Mms and E-Mail, with the T9 predictive text system. Since it is not a 3G terminal, third generation services are unfortunately not supported. The base built-in memory is 10 MB.

Entertainment and multimedia

This model features traditional applications, such as calculator, clock/alarm, organizer, but also particular ones, such as the flashlight, stopwatch and thermometer. Nokia 7370 also has polyphonic ringtones, built-in FM radio, MP3 multimedia player and video player. The camera built into this mobile phone offers a sensor with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels, for capturing sharp and well-defined images, up to 1280x960 pixels. It does not have a flash, but brightness and contrast can be easily adjusted. The device also works as a video camera and, through the image editor, it is possible to modify previously archived photo shots.
