Nokia 6680 review
The Nokia 6680 imaging smartphone has everything the most demanding user could wish for. With two integrated cameras (1.3 megapixel rear, VGA front), you can make video calls from your cell phone and see the person you're talking to in real time. Operation is Dual-Mode WCDMA/GSM with Tri-Band GSM coverage across up to five continents (GSM 900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 2100 networks). The Nokia 6680 imaging smartphone also offers the Video Sharing function, which allows you to share and view video clips during a call. It sends and receives e-mail and displays attached files on the high-resolution active matrix display (176 x 208 pixels) with 262,144 colors. In addition, you can communicate via MMS and multi-slide presentations, combining images, video clips, text and audio clips and sending them to a compatible cell phone or a PC.
The innovative feature of the Nokia 6680 is the Nokia XpressPrint printing solution, which allows you to print digital photos directly from the phone. You simply transfer the photos directly to a compatible printer or a specialized kiosk via wireless Bluetooth technology or Mini Memory card (RS-MMC), or to a PictBridge-compatible printer via USB cable; the built-in application is quick and easy to use and requires no installation. The internal 10 Mb dynamic memory (with an additional 64MB Mini Memory card) is used for contacts, text messages, multimedia messages, ringtones, images, video clips, calendar notes, to-do lists and applications. Rounding out this extraordinary phone are the Push to talk (PoC) function with a dedicated key, the ability to download games and applications based on Java technology, voice functions and other applications.
