Network and connections
The Nokia 6600i Slide is a model with advanced features, a GSM Quadband and UMTS, able to use the 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and 2100 MHz frequencies; in this way network coverage is decidedly exceptional in any situation. Internet browsing is also guaranteed, made possible thanks to the WAP browser and the built-in modem. Data transfer over the Internet is handled by GPRS and EDGE technologies while, if you wish to synchronize the phone's data with other devices, the USB port and Bluetooth technology are available.

Design and features
The Nokia 6600i Slide has a simple and serious design, with a vertical slider opening, which fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. On the front is the 2.2-inch TFT display, capable of displaying up to 16 million colors. Opening it reveals the standard numeric keypad beneath. The phone's dimensions are in line with competitors in the same class: 14 mm thick and a weight of 110 grams. Worth noting is the 1 GB microSD memory card included in the package.

Main features
Moving on to the functions offered by the Nokia 6600i Slide, worth highlighting are the built-in speakerphone, the recorder and voice messages. In addition to other more common features such as the alarm clock, the address book and the clock, you can count on the calendar synchronized with acoustic alerts to promptly remind you of upcoming appointments. As for messaging, SMS, multimedia messages and E-mail are supported; writing will be quick and easy thanks to T9. The proprietary platform supports Java, so it is possible to install additional utilities and software to better customize your device. The front-facing camera also allows you to make video calls.

Entertainment and multimedia
The multimedia sector includes a 5-megapixel camera equipped with Zoom and dual LED flash, so you can take great photos even in low light conditions. There is also a secondary front-facing camera that allows you to make video calls. With the Nokia 6600i Slide it is also possible to listen to your favorite music while on the move, thanks to the presence of a media player, capable of reading audio and video files in various formats. An AM/FM radio receiver also allows you to listen to radio broadcasts. Battery life on the move is guaranteed for up to 300 hours in Stand-by.
