Network and connections
Nokia always stands out for its excellent technical features and ease of use. That's why the 6303 Classic has been equipped with a GSM Triband receiver, on frequencies of 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz. This guarantees optimal coverage in any area of the world, also thanks to support for UMTS networks. Internet connectivity is guaranteed by the internal modem: it manages packet data traffic in GPRS or EDGE, allowing for good speed when opening HTML pages. To connect to other devices, you can instead use Bluetooth, or the USB data cable to sync directly with a PC.
Design and features
The look of this Smartphone is appealing, with innovative lines, while still keeping the Nokia mold especially in the lower part of the front. The dimensions are compact to ensure good portability without compromises. The thickness is therefore 11.7 mm and the weight just 96 grams. The structure is a classic Candybar, with a standard numeric keypad featuring keys that are easy to use. On the front there's also the display, a 2.2-inch TFT capable of displaying up to 16 million colors. Just below it, the classic Nokia multifunction directional pad, along with other management keys. Inside the retail package you'll find stereo earphones and the data cable, as well as a 1 GB microSD card.
Main features
The operating system offers the possibility to expand your device as you wish, in order to best meet each user's needs. Java support in fact allows for installing compatible software. Traditional features such as the address book, appointment calendar, alarm clock, currency converter and calculator are very convenient and practical to use. T9 predictive text support helps with quick text composition, so you can send SMS, multimedia messages and E-mail without any problem. The ability to use Push-to-Talk and Instant Messaging is interesting. In addition, the voice section offers support for multi-conferencing and video calls, via the dedicated front-facing camera.
Entertainment and multimedia
The entertainment aspect is crucial in a device that needs to be complete, in order to satisfy every type of user. That's why an excellent media player allows for playback of music and videos in various formats. The available memory is generous, further expandable via microSD cards up to 4 GB. A rear camera instead allows you to take photographs at a resolution of 3.15 megapixels, also thanks to the 8X Zoom and Dual LED Flash. It's also possible to listen to your favorite radio stations, thanks to the AM/FM radio receiver. All of this is backed by a 1050 mAh battery, which keeps the phone active for up to 450 hours in Stand-by.
