The Nokia 6234 UMTS is a cell phone with advanced features and latest-generation 3G technology. The videophone allows you to watch videos and movies and also see the person you are talking to, has two-way videoconferencing functionality, and the ability to capture video clips or take photos to attach to contacts. It has a large high-resolution display, broadband connectivity, large memory capacity and greater security in data transfer. The Nokia 6234 is able to offer the latest technologies to make communication simpler, from voice functions to those for data transmission. It has a 2.0 megapixel camera that provides innovative ways to use images at work and in leisure time and 70MB of built-in memory for ample storage capacity for applications, e-mails with attachments, photos and MP3 music files. It is possible to store up to 2 GB of data on a mini Memory card (secure digital). It also features downloading of games and applications based on Java technology, a dedicated key for voice recording, voice-recognition calls and Push to talk. Bluetooth technology allows you to transfer voice and data (e.g. images and video) between two devices equipped with a Bluetooth solution, all without wires. For example, the address book stored inside a laptop or a phone can be automatically synchronized with the one contained in the office PC as soon as you return there. EDGE, on the other hand, is a wireless technology that allows broadband data transmission. EDGE can be considered a much faster GPRS, as it can reach a transmission speed of 384kbit per second, a speed comparable to that of a good ADSL internet connection.
