Network and connections
The great Finnish company Nokia doesn't want to miss out on any market segment, which is why it decided to launch into production a device dedicated to a Chinese audience. The technical characteristics are, as always, noteworthy as per tradition; the receiver is in fact a GSM Triband on the frequencies of 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz. Coverage will thus be excellent in any condition, even though UMTS support is not provided. For Internet browsing there is an internal modem which, together with the WAP browser and GPRS support, allows pages to be opened comfortably. To exchange files and sync with other devices, you can instead use Bluetooth or the USB 2.0 data cable.

Design and features
The Nokia 6208c shows lines that aren't exactly fresh, taking up classic styles that are by now outdated. However, the choice of materials is careful and still manages to give the phone an elegant touch. The covers are in fact made of stainless steel, making the structure very sturdy and resistant as well. The dimensions are fairly compact, with a weight of 120 grams and a thickness of 14.7 mm. The style is classic Candybar, with a special insert on the back for the stylus. This is handy for using the 2.8-inch Touch Screen display with 16 million colors. Included in the sales package are the earphones and a convenient 1 GB microSD memory card.

Main features
First of all we can say that the Nokia 6208c is equipped with the successful Symbian Series 40 platform, which offers expansion possibilities thanks to Java support. This way it's possible to install handy applications and utilities, to best personalize your own device. The most common functions are certainly not missing, such as a contacts address book, an agenda for managing appointments, alarm clock and calculator. Text writing has special support for the Chinese language, with control panels for choosing the various ideograms using the stylus. The voice section offers speakerphone, voice recorder and multi-conference support.

Entertainment and multimedia
To complete the offering of this device, the designers equipped the 6208c with a 3.2 megapixel resolution camera. It's capable of taking good quality photographs, thanks also to the built-in Zoom and Flash. The memory available from the factory is 8 MB, expandable however up to 8 GB via microSD cards. This way it's also possible to carry large amounts of audio and video files, to be played back through the dedicated multimedia player. Also present is the receiver for AM/FM radio frequencies, for listening to your favorite radio broadcasts on the go. Finally, the lithium battery guarantees great operating autonomy, up to 300 hours in Stand-by.
