Nokia 6151 review
The Nokia 6151 UMTS is a cellphone with advanced features and the latest 3G generation technology. The video phone allows you to watch videos and movies and also see the person you're talking to, it has two-way videoconferencing functionality, and the ability to capture video clips or take photos to associate with contacts. It has a large high-resolution display, broadband connectivity, large memory capacity, and enhanced security in data transfer. The Nokia 6151 is able to offer the latest technologies to make communication easier, from voice functions to those for data transmission. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera that provides innovative ways to use images at work and in free time, and 30 MB of built-in memory for ample storage capacity for applications, e-mail with attachments, photos, and MP3 music files. Memory is expandable via microSD (TransFlash), hotswap.
It also features game and application downloads based on Java technology, wallpaper and screensaver downloads, a dedicated voice recording button, voice-recognition calling, Push to talk functionality, stereo FM radio, a 3GPP/MPEG4 video player, and an MP3/AAC/M4A stereo player, as well as the ability to send and receive E-mail and Instant Messaging. Bluetooth technology allows voice and data (e.g. images and video) to be transferred between two devices equipped with a Bluetooth solution, all without wires. For example, the contacts list stored on a laptop or phone can be automatically synchronized with the one on the office PC as soon as you get back to it. EDGE, on the other hand, is a wireless technology that enables broadband data transmission. EDGE can be considered a much faster GPRS, as it can reach a transmission speed of 384kbit per second, a speed comparable to that of a good ADSL internet connection.
