Nokia 6125 review
Network and connections
The Nokia 6125 uses the "Quad-band" GSM standard, operating on the 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz frequencies, for broad network coverage. This is a model that allows data transfer through the EDGE and GPRS protocols which, while not offering top speed, prove to be reliable and secure. The Nokia 6125 also allows interoperability with other wireless devices through the IrDa and, above all, Bluetooth standards. The phone also allows direct synchronization with a PC via USB cable. Both the display and the battery are of good quality.
Design and features
This phone from the Finnish company is quite compact, with a "clamshell" design, meaning a flip phone. The phone stands out for its essential, rounded lines, in an ergonomic body. In true Nokia style, the antenna is positioned inside the device's structure. It is available on the market in a two-tone version combining a mix of pearl black and silver gray.
Main features
The Nokia 6125 is equipped with a hands-free function, for easy use without holding the phone. Another available feature is multi-conferencing, for talking with multiple users at the same time. Besides that, the Nokia 6125 phone allows the use of all the most common messaging formats available today. In fact, it allows the management and sending of SMS, MMS, and E-mail, aided by the T9 writing system. The internal memory is 11 MB and is expandable via microSD cards.
Entertainment and multimedia
The Nokia 6125 offers ample entertainment possibilities. It integrates a music player for MP3, AAC, AAC+, and WMA audio formats. It also has a video player for files in 3GP and MP4 format. The software also allows for the management of audio and video streaming. Like almost all the latest models, the Nokia 6125 has an audio recorder and offers Java games, which can also be downloaded through the WAP browser. The camera built into the Nokia 6125 cell phone is a good-quality accessory. It offers a sensor resolution of 1.3 megapixels, corresponding to a maximum image resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. This tool is also equipped with digital zoom and video recording.
