Hardware and connections

Nokia 6120 Classic is a Dual Mode, UMTS and GSM Tri-Band phone, meaning it is able to receive and send calls on three different frequencies: 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz. The supported data connections are 3G, EDGE and GPRS. As for wireless connectivity, Bluetooth and IrDa connections are present, for exchanging content and using other devices. A USB port is also present. The display is an LCD, with dimensions of 240x320 pixels, using a TFT matrix with a 16 million color filter. The battery used guarantees up to 250 hours of standby time and about 3 hours of talk time.

Design and features

As for appearance, Nokia 6120 Classic falls among phones with a "candybar" design. Its dimensions are: 105 millimeters in length, 46 millimeters in width and 15 millimeters in thickness. Its weight is 89 grams without the battery. The shape is compact, with rounded corners and an integrated antenna. The color is black with Silver finishes. The area below the screen is entirely dedicated to the alphanumeric keypad, which features medium-small sized keys and the convenient pad for easy menu navigation.

Main features

During a conversation it is possible to use the speakerphone function, as well as multi-conferencing. Voice memos and voice dial are also available. The model allows users to take advantage of 3G services, such as video calls and video messages. As for messaging, Nokia 6120 Classic supports the most common standards of today: it is in fact possible to send and receive SMS, EMS, MMS and e-mail, each easily composed thanks to the T9 predictive text software. The memory, finally, is 35 MB, expandable via MicroSD cards.

Entertainment and multimedia

Nokia 6120 Classic allows its users several ways of customization. It is possible to make use of polyphonic ringtones, screensavers and Java games, with the ability to download new content through the built-in WAP browser. The device is also equipped with an MP3/AAC player and an MPEG4, RM and 3GP video player. An integrated FM tuner is also present. This model is fitted with a camera with a 2 MegaPixel sensor, capable of taking good quality photographs, at a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. The phone also offers flash, digital zoom and video recording.
