Nokia 6110 Navigator is a Dual Mode smartphone, UMTS and GSM Quad-Band. It therefore uses four different network frequencies: 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz. It also integrates the HSDPA standard, for extremely high-speed data transfer, which adds to 3G, EDGE and GPRS support. The product is based on the versatile Symbian 9.2 series 60 operating system. Nokia 6110 Navigator is also equipped with wireless Bluetooth connectivity and a USB port. The distinctive feature of this model is that it has a built-in GPS navigation system. The display is a wide QVGA 240 x 320 pixel with 16 million colors. Finally, the included battery is a Lithium Polymer, 900 mAh, and offers good battery life.
Design and features
Nokia 6110 Navigator is an elegant cell phone with a sliding design (slide-up). The style is young and compact and comes in the classic black color. The keypad is functional and intuitive; it uses the Instant Swap key to easily navigate between the various multimedia functions. The dimensions are rather compact: 101 mm in height, 49 mm in width and 20 mm in depth. The weight, on the other hand, is only 89 grams. The antenna is built-in so it does not affect overall handling.
Main features
Nokia 6110 Navigator allows you to activate the hands-free function during a conversation, thanks to the built-in speaker. By activating voice multiconferencing, it is also possible to talk to several people at the same time. As for messaging, the model allows the management of SMS, MMS and e-mail. Of course, the T9 mode is present for simplified text composition. The internal memory is 40 MB, expandable via MicroSD cards.
Entertainment and multimedia
Nokia 6110 Navigator offers the user polyphonic ringtones, screensavers and Java games, with the possibility of downloading new content from the network through the built-in WAP browser. This cell phone also acts as a multimedia player. It actually has an MP3 player, video, and also offers FM radio. The main feature of Nokia 6110 Navigator is personalized GPS navigation thanks to the built-in maps, which can be accessed with a simple key. The system shows the most suitable and fastest route to follow to find the desired area, both by car and on foot. Everything is simplified by voice instructions and directional arrows. Nokia 6110 Navigator integrates a 2 megapixel resolution camera. It has a built-in flash, 4x digital zoom and allows you to capture excellent images, up to 1600 x 1200 pixel definition. Finally, the device is equipped with video recording functions.
