Nokia 6020 review
Network and connections
The Nokia 6020 is a versatile cell phone. It is a Tri-band GSM, which can use three different network frequencies: 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz. EDGE and GPRS data transfer technologies are present, for reliable and reasonably fast connections. Unfortunately, Bluetooth compatibility is missing for wireless file exchange, while the IrDa infrared port is available. A USB cable, not included, is used for data synchronization with a personal computer.
Design and features
The Nokia 6020 comes as a classic candybar terminal, that is, a cell phone with a classic design and a monoblock body. The lines are quite squared but overall pleasant. The device has several dedicated keys, such as the one for push-to-talk, the useful "walkie talkie" functionality between compatible devices. It is a compact and rather light model, with an integrated antenna, available in black and gray.
Main features
Its many functions include Voice Dial, through which it is possible to call a contact using only your voice, the sound recorder, the address book, conference calling and the integrated hands-free speaker. In terms of messaging, Sms, Mms and E-mail formats are supported, with T9 predictive text input. The available memory is very limited: only 3.5 MB with no possibility of expansion.
Entertainment and multimedia
In addition to polyphonic ringtones, the Nokia 6020 is equipped with Java games, downloadable from the internet through the built-in WAP browser. Furthermore, this model from the Finnish company has an integrated VGA-type camera, for capturing images at a resolution of 640x480 pixels, as well as recording video clips up to 50 seconds long. Unfortunately, the device is not equipped with a flash but offers numerous adjustments before shooting. However, it lacks an MP3 player for listening to your favorite music on the go.
