Nokia 3720 classic review

Network and connections
A device without top-tier features, but one that offers reliability and resistance even in the harshest conditions, thanks to its sturdy structure. The network receiver is a GSM Triband, which provides excellent coverage in any situation. Unfortunately it does not support UMTS networks, but it does offer the possibility to browse the Internet thanks to the internal GPRS and EDGE modem. It does in fact allow HTML pages to be displayed correctly. Bluetooth, on the other hand, is excellent for exchanging files with compatible devices.

Design and features
Simple and clean style, with soft lines to ensure a secure grip. As already mentioned, the body of the 3720 Classic is able to withstand water, dust, violent falls and impacts of all kinds. This makes it an excellent work companion even in outdoor environments. The Candybar body keeps its dimensions compact, with a thickness of 15.3 mm and a weight of 94 grams. On the front is the display, a 2.2-inch QVGA TFT, capable of displaying up to 16 million colors. Just below is the standard alphanumeric keypad, with keys that are comfortable to use without any problems. Available in Grey or Yellow.

Main features
The classic Nokia menus, quick and intuitive to use to best manage every operation, are always very popular with those who are not looking for overly refined and complicated devices. On the 3720 Classic, then, you can quickly manage the contacts address book, organizer for appointments, calculator, alarm clock and currency converter. Support for T9 predictive text really helps a lot when composing text, so you can write SMS, multimedia messages and even E-mails without any problems. On the purely telephone side, it also offers speakerphone, voice recorder and support for multiconferencing.

Entertainment and multimedia
To make sure nothing was missing, Nokia's designers equipped this model with a digital camera, with a resolution of 2 megapixels. Image quality is good, as is that of videos recorded directly from the phone. Internal memory is just 20 MB, a bit limited in terms of offering ample storage capacity. For this reason, expansion up to 8 GB is possible via microSD cards. It is therefore possible to carry audio and video files to play back with the dedicated media player. There is also an AM/FM radio tuner, complete with RDS function. Lastly, battery life is very good, lasting up to 408 hours in Stand-by.
