Nokia 3330 review

Network and connections

Very similar to the previous 3310, the Nokia 3330 model presents itself as a Dual Band cell phone, but with the added value of the Wap browser which allows access to the Web. An absolute novelty for the time this model was presented, announced in the year 2001. The device's two operating frequencies are the classic ones, 900 and 1800 Mhz, for use limited to European soil only.

Design and features

Single-body like all Nokia cell phones of the early period and beyond, almost identical to the 3310 that preceded it, Nokia 3330 is a model available in original colors and with interchangeable covers. It weighs 133 grams with standard battery included and features a single monochrome display with 5 lines of text. The dimensions are: 113 x 48 x 22 millimeters, with a total volume of 97 cc. The internal battery is 1000 mAh and offers up to 245 hours of battery life (phone on standby) or 4.5 hours (phone in call mode).

Main functions

Futuristic for the time of its presentation, the 3330 offers three important resources. First, the ability to view Web pages thanks to support for the Wap browser. Second, Voice Dial, through which you can store a voice recording of a name to associate with contacts in the phonebook, so as to be able to call them quickly by speaking that name. Finally, Chat mode for SMS messages, which are supported with intuitive writing capability thanks to T9. The phonebook stores up to 100 contacts.

Entertainment and multimedia

No multimedia resources are present in the Nokia 3330 cell phone. As for entertainment, we can mention the five built-in games: Snake II, Pairs II, Space Impact, Bantumi and Bumpers. There are 37 monophonic ringtones available, but another 7 can be composed as desired using the Composer. Six tone levels for ringtones and ten volume levels for the phone. Additional games can be downloaded via Wap.
