Nokia 2760 review

Network and connections

Yet another Dual Band handset presented by Nokia in May 2007, among the mid-low range phones but from the most recent production. 900 and 1800 Mhz are therefore the supported GSM frequencies, with use consequently limited to Europe alone. In addition to the aforementioned frequencies there is Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, GPRS class 10, support for EDGE class 10, the Wap 2.0 browser, and the USB port.

Design and features

With soft colors and rounded design, this phone comes in the modern form that features the device's clamshell opening. This allows the phone to house two displays: the first, the internal one, has a resolution of 128x160 pixels, is of the TFT type, and displays 65,000 colors; the secondary external one is 96x68 pixels, monochrome. The weight of the phone is 81 grams. Dimensions: 87 x 44.8 x 20.7 millimeters. The battery provided has a battery life of 310 and 6 hours (stand-by and talk time) and a power of 700 mAh.

Main functions

The built-in speakerphone and the presence of vibrate mode in conjunction with or instead of the ringtone are the notable functions during calls. In addition there are the usual calendar, calculator, converter, and address book. There are installed games, but more can be added through downloads. The types of messages supported are SMS, MMS, e-mail, and Instant Messaging. There is T9 predictive text software.

Entertainment and multimedia

The entertainment and multimedia resources of this model are good. First of all, there is an FM radio tuner. Secondly, there is an interesting video player that encodes video files in the MPEG4 and 3GPP formats, that is, the two most common ones. The last added value is the built-in camera: it has a very low resolution, 0.3 Megapixels (VGA), and allows you to take photos at 640x480 pixels, but it also allows you to record videos at 128x96 pixels, in keeping with the model's rather limited memory (10 MB).
