Nokia 2660 review
Network and connections
This is certainly not a champion of connectivity, but it does integrate good resources especially in the realm of wireless connections. Although it is a simple Dual Band device, capable of operating on the two GSM frequencies of 900 and 1800 Mhz, thus limiting its use to the European continent, the phone integrates Bluetooth connectivity of type 2.0. In addition to this, there is a Wap browser and GPRS class 10 at 32-48 kbps.
Design and features
A clamshell with contained weight and a dual display, this is a phone with a young and compact look. Weighing just 79 grams, the phone has the following dimensions: 87 millimeters in height, 44.8 millimeters in width, and finally 20.7 millimeters in thickness. With the phone open, the top part houses the main 128x160 pixel display, with a 65,000-color filter. There is also an external 96x68 pixel monochrome display. Included is a 700 mAh lithium battery with a battery life of 310 hours in stand-by and 6 hours in talk mode.
Main features
Nokia 2660 supports various types of messaging: SMS, MMS, which can be composed intuitively and quickly thanks to T9 software, as well as Instant Messaging and e-mail. There are a few pre-installed games, but others can be downloaded from the network or transferred via Bluetooth from other devices. Vibration, calendar, speakerphone, converter, and 24-tone polyphonic ringtones are the remaining functions worth mentioning.
Entertainment and multimedia
In terms of entertainment, Nokia 2660 mainly offers two resources. The first consists of the FM radio, with a tuner for listening to your favorite stations. The other is a video player in 3GPP format. Missing, however, are an integrated camera and a multimedia player that could encode audio files such as Mp3 music tracks.
