Nokia 2652 review
Network and connections
The 2652 model, introduced in September 2005 by Nokia, is a model that in terms of operating networks qualifies as a Dual Band, as it receives on frequencies of 900 and 1800 Mhz. Alongside these GSM networks there are only two other connections: GPRS class 4 with a speed of 24-36 kbps and the Wap 1.2.1 browser, which allows quick and inexpensive access to the Internet.
Design and features
It was one of the first models to be equipped with the so-called clamshell opening, now very much in vogue and much loved by young users. With the phone open, the lower part is entirely devoted to the keypad, black and with medium-large keys. The upper part, on the other hand, houses the display with 128x128 pixel resolution, with 4096 colors. The phone weighs 96 grams and measures 85 mm in height, 46 in width and 23 in depth. The total volume is 77 cc.
Main features
The phonebook can store up to 256 x 5 contacts, and an image can be associated with each of them. The phone's internal memory is 1 MB and cannot be expanded via external memory slots. The phone remembers the last 20 received calls, the last 20 missed calls and the last 20 dialed calls. There are a few pre-installed games, but others can be added to memory by downloading them from the Web.
Entertainment and multimedia
Entertainment resources are scarce, and multimedia ones even more so, aside from the games already mentioned. There is no music support, so there is neither a radio nor an Mp3 player. The camera is also absent. As for messaging, SMS and MMS are supported. Calculator, calendar and converter are the only concessions to a particularly modest overall picture in this respect.
