Nokia 2310 review

Network and connections

Nokia 2310 is not a super-equipped model. In fact, it is a Dual Band device, meaning it uses two GSM frequencies: 900 and 1800 Mhz. This mobile phone does not feature any kind of connection with other devices, neither via cable nor wireless, since it lacks a USB port and Bluetooth/IrDa technologies. GPRS connectivity is nevertheless present, for data transfer while on the move. The display is sharp but passive matrix.

Design and features

Nokia 2310 is a simple mobile phone. As far as design is concerned, it is not a device with a futuristic shape, but a simple candybar, so a standard device with a one-piece body, albeit with bright colors and a decidedly sporty look. The menu is easy to understand and simple to navigate, also thanks to the central navigation key. The handset is enclosed in a light and slim body, with built-in antenna. The sales package also includes stereo earphones.

Main features

Nokia 2310 is equipped with built-in speakerphone, multiconference, alarm clock, clock, calculator, reminder and calendar. As for messaging, Nokia 2310 offers the ability to send and manage Sms, with the T9 intuitive writing system, but not Mms and E-mail. The available memory is only 4 MB.

Entertainment and multimedia

Although this Nokia model does not feature any particular functions, it offers one very interesting feature, namely stereo FM radio, useful for passing the time while on the move. The customization options and the quality of the 24-tone polyphonic ringtones are decent. There is also a series of pre-installed games to try your hand at any time. The downside is that it is absolutely not possible to download video games, ringtones, screensavers or anything else from the network.
