Nokia 2110 review

Network and connections

Introduced back in 1995, the Nokia 2110 cell phone features only one connection: GSM on the single 900 Mhz frequency. This is therefore a cell phone that doesn't offer much in terms of connectivity, having no possibility of connecting to the Web in any way. The phone features a monochrome display of the Navi Key type, 4 x 13 characters

Design and features

The design of the Nokia 2110 is typical of cell phones produced several years ago: classic lines, single-body, with the antenna not integrated but protruding from the body on the upper right side, thus increasing the phone's dimensions. Which are not exactly compact: the height is 148 millimeters, the width 56 millimeters and the depth 25 millimeters. The weight is also very high, a full 236 grams.

Main features

This is a model poor in features. We can only mention the phonebook with the ability to store 125 contacts within the phone's memory, in addition to those contained on the SIM Card. The ringtones are monophonic. The phone stores the last 10 missed calls, the last 10 received and the last 10 sent. The included 550 mAh lithium battery offers a battery life of 30 hours on standby and 2 hours and 40 minutes of talk time.

Entertainment and multimedia

Completely lacking in functions related to any kind of entertainment, the Nokia 2110 grants, among options other than calling, only support for sending and receiving SMS messages (but not concatenated ones). Other than that, this is an absolutely non-multimedia cell phone, which serves solely to make and receive phone calls. A model from another era, indeed.
