Nokia 1650 review
Network and connections
Lacking any particular connections that would make it usable as a tool for connecting to the Network, the Nokia 1650 cell phone falls into the low-end category as far as this aspect is concerned. It is in fact a so-called Dual Band device, which therefore supports communication on the two most classic GSM frequencies, at 900 and 1800 Mhz to be precise. Having said that, it should only be added that as far as other types of connections are concerned, these are definitely not to be found on the 1650 model.
Design and equipment
The design is elegant, the dimensions compact, the weight low. This is how Nokia 1650 is characterized in terms of aesthetics, with a volume of 69 cc and a weight that reaches 80 grams but only when including the batteries. The dimensions are 104.2 x 43.8 x 17.8 millimeters, where the first value indicates the height, the second the width and the last the depth of the phone. Remarkable instead, for this product category that is, is the CSNT display which has a resolution of 128x160 pixels and allows the display of 65,000 colors. The equipment includes a user manual, headset, battery charger, and a BL-5C battery that allows 8 hours of continuous talk time and 420 hours of standby time without recharging.
Main features
Among the main features during a call, mention should be made of the speakerphone for talking hands-free. The ringtones are all polyphonic with 32 tones, and among those installed there are also some in MP3 format. Screensavers, wallpapers and themes are customizable, obviously among the pre-installed ones (it's not possible to download others). The display is very readable and has large characters. Countdown timer, stopwatch, alarm clock, address book, calculator and flashlight use complete the overview. Messaging offers only SMS.
Entertainment and multimedia
The FM radio is the main entertainment tool offered by the Nokia 1650 model, and it is also the only one. Useful and practical is the dedicated One Touch key: with this it is possible to instantly activate radio mode. There are no other forms of entertainment, except for the three pre-installed games (Snake Xenzia, Beach Rally and Soccer League) and animated screensavers, logos and wallpapers. The 8 MB of internal memory, therefore, besides not constituting a significant amount of storage, still do not make it possible to add new games or programs, due to the absence of dedicated connections.
