Nec e949 review

Modern, elegant, compact and featuring a trendy and innovative design, it is a GSM/GPRS handset equipped with a 65,000-color display (176×220 pixels), a 1.3 megapixel (SXGA) camera and a secondary OLED display. NEC e949 is currently the thinnest clamshell phone with camera on the world market, with a thickness of just 11.9 mm and a weight of 96 grams. With the camera it is possible to take photos or shoot videos, as well as print images directly from the phone thanks to PictBridge technology. Music and entertainment are always close at hand with Java games and applications.

The phone also has other interesting features such as Video-recorder and player, Bluetooth to stay connected wirelessly, the MP3 player, while the ringtones provided are 64-tone polyphonic and the Video Rec & Play function allows recording/viewing of videos up to 2 minutes long. In addition, it is possible to send and receive e-mail using the e-mail functionality, while with Mms multimedia messages you can send and receive attachments with photos, audio and text.
