Motorola Sholes review

Network and connections
A new advanced device with Google's Android 2.0 platform. This Smartphone combines advanced features with high-quality technologies, such as the GSM Quadband receiver. It guarantees optimal signal coverage, also thanks to UMTS support working in Dual Mode. For browsing the Internet, nothing is faster among portable devices: HSDPA technology for speeds equal to home ADSL. The HTML browser will only have to worry about correctly displaying pages. It is also possible to take advantage of distributed networks thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi antenna. Bluetooth and a USB data cable output are also present.

Design and features
The structure of the Motorola Sholes is sturdy and substantial. The front houses the large screen, a TFT of a full 3.7 inches. It has a WVGA resolution in 16:9 format and displays up to 16 million colors. It also features Capacitive Touch Screen technology, for optimal management of functions with simple taps on the screen. The thickness of the Sholes is average, at 13.7 mm, while the weight is a bit more generous, at 169 grams. This is also due to the fact that the casing opens, with a lateral Slider movement. This way, a Full QWERTY keyboard with a directional pad is revealed inside.
